I'm using the nas on a local sub-network, i have no dns servers.

I configured my network settings using nas address as dns and gateway, restarted nas, and now it can transfer at 120 MBytes/s,

The gateway should be the router, not the NAS itself. The DNS server should match what your PC's are using - generally the router IP. 8.8.8.8 will also work for DNS (it's google's public DNS server).
Your settings might fix your performance problem, but using the NAS address as the gateway and DNS server will create other issues (firmware updates will fail among other things).

the ReadyNas is placed in an isolated network, without gateway so at the moment this configuration works fine for me.
