Port mapping on Apple Time Capsule for Photos II?
I'm trying to use ReadyNAS Photos II. It works fine on the local network. However, when I try to access it from outside the LAN, I get the message "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at XX.XX.XX.XX:8086."
I'm assuming it's something I need to fix on my Apple Time Capsule/Router, but I don't know what. Has anyone come across this? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
Thank you.

Thank you for replying.
I am trying to setup my ReadyNAS NV+ (bought 2007, so v1?) to be accessed by your tech area. I need to port forward my Apple Time Capsule Router/Hard Disk.
Which port should I use? This has nothing to do with Photos II. - sphardy1ApprenticeIf the unit is put in Tech Support mode, no port forwarding is required (the unit "phones home" to Netgear and that enables access without special setup)
