Problem with NV+ (v1)
I have an issue with my NV+, It seems that something has gone wrong with RAIDiator 4.1.14 and I am unable to access the ReadyNAS via CIFS, the NV+ wont accept the connection according to Windows. F...
Well all I can say is that for the past 4 years I have not had any issues with these drives at all. Maybe the bug missed my drives? :lol:
I have only had to resync the volume on two occasions, the first because of a power outage before my UPS arrived and the second because the UPS battery died.
The only thing that has changed recently is the upgrade to RAIDiator 4.1.14.
I'm not overly concerned though if the NV+ dies, I already have a DS1813+ to fall back on. If a drive dies, I may replace it or I may sell off the NV+ or scrap it for parts.
I keep it around because it has been so reliable and my only complaint with it is, that it is so slow... I will miss it when it's gone but until then I'm sure it will soldier on, or at least I hope so! ... :lol:
