It is possible that someone could look at your system remotely to see what is wrong, but the easiest way to sort this out would be to backup, factory default and restore from backup.
I assume the nas is out of its 90 day support period?
I bought it November 14, 2014 in Poland, if it has any meaning.

So why we as users have to bear the consequences of error Netgear? I do not have space to back up all data on the NAS and do a reset to factory settings. Total lack of responsibility on the part of Netgear - releases the update if it is 100% sure that it works.
