Ok if the nas is that new you must contact Netgear support, you have 90 days free support for this sort of thing. You can either phone them or file an online case at mynetgear.com where your product was registered.
That's why I said not to do anything drastic like USB boot or factory default, it is probable that this can be fixed remotely.
You are unfortunately just unlucky, but Netgear support is very good I can assure you. When you have filed a case ( do it now, online) put the case number into the thread title.
