Problem with RN102 after 6.2.1 update #24398652

Same issue here. RN312, Readynas Pro2
My switches start behaving erratically after the update. All the ports start blinking in tandem. I have a Netgear switch (GS108T). When this happens, I cannot access the network at all (from all the devices on the network). Since I could not access my device, I had to resort to data recovery procedure for OS6 by mounting it in a linux OS.
Thankfully, the data was recovered.
Now, I did a OS reinstall + factory reset. Installed two applications (Squeezebox Server + Bittorrent Sync) created my folders, copied back the data and behold, the issue starts once again. I switch the network cable to the other interface and this issue is resolved temporarily to reappear once again.
This also happens on the Readynas Pro2 device that I hack-updated to OS6 in addition to RN312.
This is definitely a firmware issue. Not sure how Netgear would resolve it since the device cannot be connected to the network.
Thanks,
D
