Problems with my ReadyNAS NV+ v1
Hi all.
Tried to find if anyone else was having the same problem but could not find it by searching the forum.
Recently purchased the mentioned device. Bought 4x 2TB WD Red drives and after initial boot had 5.4TB of space.
Backing stuff up over the last few days then all of a sudden the coping started to stop despite plenty of room and the NAS was unresponsive and not detected in RAIDar.
Logging into Frontview after a reset the error logged showed that one disk had errors but nothing major, 5 allocated sectors, so the Sync started up.
The Act LED then stopped flashing and RAIDar stopped detecting the NAS again.
Had to power it off via the plug, again, as the Power Button was unresponsive.
Once it boots I can log into Frontview but it freezes after a time, but RAIDar sometimes continues to show that the NAS is Syncing though the % does not count up.
Given that all of the parts are knew and that the errors on the drive are minimal for now what can I do to complete the sync so I can swap the drive out??
The NAS currently has 4 TB used so there is a substantial amount of loss if the NAS is indeed faulty.
Thanks.
EDIT: Sorry about the incorrect thread name.
