StephenB is confusing the NV+ and Pro6 suppplies. You can rig up an ATX supply ot work with either externally, but doing so with the NV+ requires an adapter cable to swap out some pins while the Pro6 can be directly connected. The Seasonic supply he mentions is for the legacy 6-bay units, not 4-bay,
Some Flex ATX supplies can be adapted to fit internal to the NV+. It takes some swapping of output pins and dealing with the cooling air flow.

Sorry about the confusion on the Seasonic.
Sandshark posted some possibilities for the NV+ about a year ago here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-Hardware-Compatibility/Inexpensive-power-supply-replacement-for-legacy-4-bay-Readynases/m-p/1253813#M15652 The Kentak supply in that post still appears to be available.

Thanks everyone. I was able to connect up an ATX power supply externally. It works a treat. I used an extension cable as suggested.
