I received my NV+ yesterday, but am unable to install Raidar. Whenever I try, I get the following error message: Could not use bundled JRE. Please send this log file to your software vendor: ...

Interesting. While I did not try to install RAIDar in a standard user setup, I was able to run RAIDar as a standard user. (I set up another User ID as a standard user, and since RAIDar was installed on my Admin account to install for all users, when I set up the Standard Account, it automatically installed). It may be the settings you have for your firewall, rather than Win 7. (I am running Win 7 HP 64bit, that it shouldn't be any different than your Win 7 Ultimate 32bit.)
I do normally download a program into my download folder, save it on the network and then double click it in the download folder to install. The only program I ever had a problem with was SuperAntiSpyware, the updates required me to close the program, then open it with run as administrator (even though it was an administrator account) and then do the update. Finally SAS fixed it so the 64bit users did not have to do this. (32bit users just updated as normal).
Hope this may help for I know how aggravating it can be to always have to "run as administrator" when opening a program.
Are you running McAfee or Symantec security suites by chance?
