Yes. When you access the share via CIFS, Windows automatically presents your Windows logon credentials to the NAS. If the "everyone" rights are set to read or read/write on the NAS, this will usually succeed and you will see your shares w/o a password. One case where it fails: if your windows logon is admin, and the password doesn't match the NAS admin password.
