Hello Dii,
Welcome to the community!
If you are an advanced user, you might be able to understand the steps at http://home.bott.ca/webserver/?p=340.
Regards,
Those steps are about sending WoL packets from the NAS to wake up other device - not about waking the NAS itself up.
If you simply want to wake up other devices on demand, there is an add-on here that will work nicely: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Community-Add-ons/ReadyWOL-0-1-Sparc/m-p/810581#U810581 I use it on my pro-6.
If you want to wake up the NAS, then you are out of luck. The sparc bios doesn't support it (certainly not on the desktop NAS, and I'd be very surprised if the rack-mount models have support for it). Back in 2007 when the 1100 was launched, the expectation was that server equipment would remain powered 24x7.

Thank you all for the speedy replies .
Yes I want to wake up the NAS itself remotely using WOL. I did saw the Add-Ons that offer the WOL function but that is to use the already running NAS to wake up other devices . Which is nice but I already can do that trough other means.
Well that is a shame , I really hoped that it might be possible trough the SSH console but if the BIOS is not supporting it then I guess there is nothing we can do ;-(.
Will have to play with the scheduled On/Off timers .
Thanks again !
