ReadyDR jobs don't send status email
I have several ReadyDR and non-ReadyDR backup jobs set up on my RN314. They are all set up to send me the status, by email, on completion. All jobs are set up to copy files/snapshots (as the case may...

Sorry what I mean was if you were receiving alerts if a ReadyDR Job fails. I was trying to check if a failed job status will provide an email alert.
Please let me know if you can simulate one so we can compare.

Dear Marc_V,
I was able to simulate a ReadyDR job failure. I first created a new share X at source, set up a ReadyDR job to run on taking a snapshot of X which will transmit the snapshot to a ReadyDR share X-DR at destination.
I first *successfully* ran the ReadyDR job and transmitted a snapshot from X to X-DR. This worked but did not send any email to me.
The time now came to *fail* the ReadyDR job. I deleted the transmitted snapshot at the destination on X-DR. I then went back to source and took a snapshot on X. This is supposed to trigger the ReadyDR job and it did. But the job failed.
And, guess what, this failure generated an email that I received!
So it seems that a failure of a ReadyDR job is generating and email but a success isn't.
What's going on here?
Thanks.

Hi,
It has been almost two months since this problem was reported and acknowledged as an issue.
I am currently running 6.9.1 firmware. I see that firmware 6.9.2 has been released.
Could you please tell me if a resolution to this problem has been included in 6.9.2?
And if not, when is this exepected to be fixed?
Thanks very much.

It's in 6.9.3, which is currently a release candidate. https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-Beta-Release/ReadyNASOS-6-9-3-RC1/m-p/1493242#M10092
Netgear cut 6.9.2 short (releasing it early with fewer features) in order to get the fix for Meltdown out sooner.
