This suggests that disk 1 failed, and then you replaced disk 4. That will destroy the RAID array.

That is the thing, I wasn't even home. This all just happened. And now it looks like I have lost everything. My theory is the array is just broken. Can this be rebuilt at all?
Support have offered the Data Recovery at a cost of about $275AUD. Would that do it?
It is a lot of money and I don't want to just throw it away...
