The best advice is to read the User Manual HERE and scroll to page 67
Also if your data is so crucial I strongly advise you to have another copy as a backup plan somewhere else.......like a USB disk or two
Most helpful, thank you very much ! I'll start studying asap - I see there is an option to click "reset" on each share, to place sharing etc back to it's default. Can I assume by doing this that the share's data will not be deleted?
No the data will not be deleted, it merely resets file access rights
