Re-synch loop following disk replacement(support #23334325)
Hi All, I have a Readynas Ultra 6 with 6 x 2TB drives inside. Running latest firmware (4.2.26 as of Jan 14 2014). Configuration was Disk 1 - Seagate ST32000542AS Disk 2 - Seagate ST32000542A...

Hi all,
Just to update this case for future reference.
The problem was that disc 1 had some problem, even though it was not reporting as such (in fact it reported no errors at all). When I swapped out disk two, the resynch would get to 90% complete and then fail due to disc one issues.
Anyway I had to get level 3 support to remotely assist and they rebuilt the array with the original 6 discs, then we swapped out disk 2 and resynch manually then swapped out disk one and resynch normally, no data was lost. Cost me USD 200 but, hey what could I do!
