Unable to connect to Admin Page on RN2120 after firmware 6.7.5 upgrade
Hello all, I have a NetGear ReadyNAS 2120 which has never missed a beat until last week when I upgraded the firmware to 6.7.5 (latest). The unit rebooted as normal however after I was unable ...

My guess is that the 192 address is valid, and the 169 address is not. You might want to disconnect the NIC that is using the 169 address.
What apps were installed? Was PHP one of them?
Also, does https://192.168.1.66/fwbroker respond?

Thanks for the suggestion I have been down that road with the crossover cable but I'll give this a try again.

When I first set-up the ReadyNAS I had a whole bunch of apps installed, with good intentions of using them for various projects. Most made the device unstable or slow so got removed \ disabled but now can't find out what's left on there. Don't think PHP was one of them.

Yes, this bit does respond to the admin login. Is it worth trying to reinstall 6.7.5 or is there a better firmware version to give a punt?
Thanks again for your advice.

I'm not sure how the crossover relates, but the NAS auto-detects, so a crossover isn't needed.

Some users with similar symptoms found that over-installing 6.7.5 via fwbroker worked. Though my sense from posts here is that 6.8.0-RC1 is more likely to work. You can find it in the public beta area.

Not soon after your advice 6.8.0 came availble on the download page and installing this via fwbroker looks to have done the trick.
Thanks
