Reading FlexRAID disk on Windows
Can anyone tell me if there is a piece of software for windows that can read/recover data from a FlexRAID disk?
Someone posted a very interesting article about a piece of Linux software (R-Linux?) but alas, I am not Linux smart and need to recover contents from a FlexRAID disk, due to a firmware upgrade supervising stuff-up, my NAS is now RAIDX.
Any help gratefully appreciated.

You have a Duo v2 (runs RAIDiator 5.3.x and has the Dashboard web-interface)? See http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/ - xixauAspirantI don't know what happened, it was the second upgrade that I have done, and this time I set it going before heading away. I got a message to say that the RAID-X disk needed re-syncing. Before the upgrade I was rinning FlexRAID. No Idea why it would change?
Nas is apparently a v1 ReadyNAS Duo RND2000.
I have two new disks to get the NAS going on RAID-X, but want to get my data off from the FlexRAID disk. - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserNote the main thread describing the firmware update is here: viewtopic.php?f=65&t=74790&p=416023#p416023
- xixauAspirantI am posting this as a separate question, as I am now looking for a piece of windows software to try to read a FlexRAID disk, does anyone know if this exists?
As StephenB says the origins of the problems are in the other thread.
Thanks in advance. - StephenBGuru - Experienced UserTry disk internals Linux Reader (http://www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/)
Note that it doesn't matter if the system is flex-raid or xraid in this case.
BTW you might want to update your profile to say "duo". - xixauAspirant"Linux Reader" - Sounds perfect, downloading now. Thanks for all your help.
