Ready NAS 104 Slow Performance

OK Factory Reset Performed and 2 day resync of drive done.
NAS in virgin state with nothing on it.
Disabled IPv6 checked all settings, switched off services not required.
Ran NASTest 400mb loop x5
Running a 400MB file write on W: 5 times... Iteration 1: 48.23 MB/sec Iteration 2: 43.38 MB/sec Iteration 3: 46.00 MB/sec Iteration 4: 42.54 MB/sec Iteration 5: 41.91 MB/sec ----------------------------- Average (W): 44.41 MB/sec ----------------------------- Running a 400MB file read on W: 5 times... Iteration 1: 48.74 MB/sec Iteration 2: 48.52 MB/sec Iteration 3: 51.52 MB/sec Iteration 4: 49.42 MB/sec Iteration 5: 51.54 MB/sec ----------------------------- Average (R): 49.95 MB/sec -----------------------------
so bottom line doing the reset has doubled the netwoek speed in this case, however it is not near what StephenB was getting on his NAS.
Where to now or do I just take the speed double and move on.

I'd probably take it and move on for now.
If you need the additional speed boost, you probably should consider upgrading the NAS to a faster model and then re-purpose the RN104 as a backup NAS.
