Ready Nas Duo 2000 V2 cant see any data
Hi
We have been using a RND2000 for a while with no problems.
We shut it down before the holidays and when we have come to power it up we cant get into admin... the password is not recognised.
I can see it on Raidar and it seems to be ok (disc 2 has 1 ata error but all lghts are green)
I can see it through a finder window (we use Macs) but it always Fails to connect.
Has anyone any Ideas how to solve this problem
Thanks very Much
Bob Harvey

Hi photman52,
Welcome to the community!
If disk 1 is proven healthy, we can try to boot it up without disk 2 to access your data, but it could go either way. You also have to option to contact our support team to diagnose the problem for a fee.
Kind regards,

Your options to look at it yourself depend on what firmware it is running.
The underlying issue here is that we can't trust "v1" or "v2" declarations from new posters. A lot of people think they have a v2, but they actually have a v1. See this guide for more info: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/

I can see a Duo v1 hardware revision 2 on this customer's profile.
