Ready NAS NV+ asnd Windows Server 2008 R2 x64
I was told to start my own thread and now i am doing that.
It where not popular to post the same issue to all other thread with the aame issu that never has been solved!
My issue and so many others!
I have installed a new Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 and there is no problem to connect to ReadyNAS internally,bt then i tried to gain access outside with VPN connection i get this error. There is no process..... and then i manually adds the local account in the NAS for access it runs smootly and connects, but not then it tries to access the unit with Domain properties.
This is not the Negear unit that is the problem, it´s the Windows Server because the NTML support is not setup correctly.
My server has only the Windows 2008 mode, not Server 2003
Something is missing in the Netgear support for WIndows Server 2008 R2 in Server 2008 native mode.

- JOJO1AspirantI have a question if Netgear support looks into our issues or is it the customers to Netgear only that has to find out answers ?
- sphardy1ApprenticeAs it states in the upper left of this forum, this is a community forum, not a formal support forum. If you need Netgear support then you must contact them directly and log a support case
Netgear employees however do frequent the forum, but most are based in the US (California) so you need to allow a little more time to get a response else, again, the better option is to log a formal support case with Netgear - JOJO1AspirantOK.
Then i have too contact Netgear support to get this bug fixed!
No process on other side of pipe, then using Windows server 2008 R2 x64 with support for only W 2008 domain.... No pre. support (win 2003)
Thankyou
J - JOJO1AspirantNetgear has linked their support forum to this forum.
Still got problem with No Process on the other side of pipe then accessing the share with Active Directory with Windows 2008 R2 Enterprice
The only way to access the Netgear Ready Nas NV+ is to save the Unix/Linux (admin) password in windows locall password manager.
I have tried to lower the Kerberos and NTML passthru in gruop policy manager, and no difference.
Anywhone who got another ide or has the same issue ?
