Ready Nas Nv+ not power up after shutdown #Case No. 17845145
Hello, i am unable to power up the readynas nv+, after a power failure last night.
I have a Ups connented, but i was away from home and after some time, the ups goes off, the same the readynas.
But when i have tried to pwer up pressing the power on button in readynas, nothing is happen.
Is this a Psu failure or maybe can happen something else?
I am in serious problem, because i have a lot of files that i need to work with.
Thanks

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserIs the UPS recharged? You could try plugging the NAS directly to the mains and see if that works.
- giannispassAspirantThis is exactly what i did.
But nothing happens. Not power up.

If you are seeing no signs of life, then the PSU is a likely cause. Maybe you should open a support ticket.giannispass wrote: This is exactly what i did.

Is this a Psu problem or something else? - giannispassAspirantI have already opened a support ticket. It is Case No. 17845145.
Also i will try to open the box, to check the pinout voltage of the Psu connector.
I have found the pinout in a pdf in the forum, but i have lost it now.
Can someone help me? - giannispassAspirantI just check the Power supply with a Voltage meter and it was burned...
I am going to buy an ATX Power supply and use this instead. (I know that Atx has modified pin out, i will fix it).
One question. At this time i have open the Readynas box and everything is open in my table. 4 X 2TB discs and all this. But accidentally, when i was opening the box, i press the reset button (it was out of teh mains). Is there any problem with this? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWouldn't it be better to get a replacement from NetGear. Using a 3rd party power supply unit voids whatever warranty you have left.
When did you purchase the NV+? Was it on/after Aug 21, 2007?
