ReadyDLNA 1.0.21 for Samsun LED TV Type C
I just installed version 1.0.21 of ReadyDLNA for my ReadyNAS 1100.
As I am a new owner of a Samsung Series C8790 LED TV (newest firmware), I had hoped that it would help me with my FF/REW "not available" problem for my AVI files when playing them with Samsung's integrated media player
Why? Because of the revision history:
-- start --
Changes:
2011/07/18 [1.0.21]
Fix FF/REW of AVI files on Samsung Series B TV's.
Fix a crash bug when playing music on TiVo.
Add WAV/RIFF INFO tag parsing support for the most common tags.
Fix a crash bug with clients that request a large number of results (i.e. Xbox 360).
2011/06/10 [1.0.20]
Improve support for the NETGEAR Digital Entertainer Live (EVA2000).
Fix a crash bug when scanning MPEG-TS files with odd packet sizes.
Work around Samsung A-Series TV issues with AVI file streaming.
...
-- end --
Well, actually... it doesn't work FF/REW isn't available on my TV.
Just to let you know and in hope for a new version which supports FF/REW...
Ciao,
Oliver

I let the message...
Hi,
Apparently, the patch to support C series is not applied into the readyDLNA mainline.
I'm not sure of the reason, but I've read that this patch allows to support C series while it breaks support of a lot off other versions (this information is available into the patch comments).
So I think without solving this version incompatibility the C series patch will not be integrated.
I don't know if someone is working on this issue.
Nevertheless, there is a specific build for C series.
You can find manual installation process (at your own risk :? ) here: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=51478
Best regards,
octy
