ReadyDLNA "no playable media"

DLNA used to work, my TV would pick up folders and files just fine.

However, i've recently added some more media that didn't show up, i did a "recan" from ReadyNAS UI (very poor as there is no progress or anything).

On the browser on my TV i now have duplicate entries, one shows the "old" list of folders before i updated them, and the other shows the new ones. However, the new list shows all the folders but NO files. Every folder when clicked shows "there is no playable media".

Is there something i've done wrong, or a way to completely wipe and restart ReadyDLNA?

Hi, i'm running 6.8.0, and yes the model is correct :)

I'm currently looking at Minidlna itself, i've changed DB path to /var/cache/ and rebuilding to see if this "clean slate" works. But any advice on what is happening here would be appreciated

    What firmware are you running?

Your post says you have an RN2120 (OS 6 Arm-based rack-mount unit), is that correct?

I don't have much to offer at this point - let us know what happens after everything is rebuilt.

/var/cache is in the OS partition (which is only 4 GB), it would be better if the cache is in /apps (data volume).
