ReadyNAS 102 With X-RAID , can't acces files
I have a readynas 102 ver 6.4.1 with 2 seagate barracuda 2 gb since one and a half year.
Its has always work fine.
Since a while I can't read files on the nas. I can acces the administration page and it says everything is fine.
I can run raidar too and it works fine.
I can see the nas on my network, even see folder as pictures, documents..
Sometimes I can open them and see sub folders even if it takes time !
And then, its impossible to open files that I have always been able to open, read or work with it.
Windows sometimes says it's unable to acces. Sometimes explorer crashes.
I tried on another computer with win10 on the same network and it's the same problems.
I am not used with network problems but as I can acces the administration page, see the nas on the network, same on two computers, I think its probably a problem with the nas.
I am getting crazy with this, I restarted many times the adsl box, the nas, even reinstaled windows !
Help would be welcome !
If you can access the admin page, then look in system-Settings->services.
If antivirus is enabled, then disable it.

Hello kusmar,
Welcome to the community!
Which file sharing protocol do you use to open them?
Can you open the files when you access the shares via the admin page?

Hello GennC !
Thank you !
Hmmm which file sharing protocol ? I am sorry to answer I don't know as my knowledge with all of this is too bad.
Let me know how to find this.
I used to have the nas always accessible with explorer. I gave a letter to the main folders on the nas.
Even with my lighroom I was able to see the folders on the nas and working on files. But now no more acces with LR. It says there is no files in my picture sub folders.
Unfortunately I can't open files when I access the shares via the admin page.
Message says admin page is offline
And right now I cannot acces admin page but Raidar is still working and saying nas works fine.
Thank you :)

Hello kusmar,
You must be using the CIFS/SMB protocol, then.
What error message do you get when trying to access the admin page? What's the RAID level? What was the last activity done with the NAS before this happened? On the RAIDar, it should show the firmware version too.
Please also post how many disks inserted and size of each.
Regards,
