Readynas 104: access from PC in ethernet
Hi All I have a readynas 104 and a PC connected to the same access point in my home ethernet. The connection seems fine: - both machines access interet (i just updated the firmware on the readynass...

By default, Windows will present your windows login to the NAS as your username. It sounds like that username doesn't exist on your NAS.
One option is to go into the windows credential manager, and enter a NAS username for the NAS IP address and hostname. If you leave the password blank, Windows should prompt for it. If you use a Microsoft account on the PC, you should use this option.
If you are using a local PC account, then you can also set up a NAS account that has the same username.
