ReadyNAS 104: DLNA lost my videos

Hating more and more this mess of a NAS, I am now facing this absurd situation.
I tried adding DLNA to the root folder of addon Transmission (the idea was to check the newly downloaded files on my TV). As it didn't even appear on folder list on my Samsung TV accessing my NAS via DLNA, I removed the DLNA sharing from it.
However, when I access my VIDEO section of DLNA share from my Samsug TV, I see no videos at all (both trying the ALL VIDEOS and trying the FOLDER option). Nothing.
However, if I access the PICTURES shares, I can see everything correclty.

I assumed the DLNA crashed or malfunctioned for some reason and I restarted the NAS (now 3 times). I disabled and re-enabled both the full DLNA service on the NAS, and only its sharing on VIDEO folder. Nothing.
All my videos are there: I can see them over the netword using Samba and I can see them using the web interface of ReadyNAS.

Any idea, before I have a nervous breakdown?

I can see also that you have lots of snapshots. I don't recommend using snapshots on the Transmission share. With CoW and snapshots if you make a huge number of in place modifications to files you will get a lot of fragmentation.

I can see you have high load on your NAS.

I would suggest that you backup your data, do a factory reset (wipes all data, settings, everything) and restore your data from backup.

We made some filesystem improvements (e.g. in 6.1.5), but some of these do require a factory reset if you wish to take advantage of them.

I would suggest after the factory reset that you leave Bitrot protection and snapshots off on the Transmission share.

As for DLNA I wouldn't enable that on the Transmission share, but rather on a different one.

I agree. Running the DLNA scanner on an incomplete audio or video file is asking for trouble. It's best to migrate the completed download to a different share, and run DLNA there.
