Readynas 104 drops out when copying to it
I have a readynas 104 configured with four 4tb drives in raid 5. I've managed to copy about 6tb onto the device without issue but now whenever I go to copy something onto the box, lets say a single 4...

Have not tried yet. Now in the process of copying all data off to external drives. When that is done I'll make the final decision for either giving it a chance or just take my losses, ebay the unit sans the drives and invest in a brand which takes its customers a little more serious. There is no way I am going to sit around and wait a couple of months for Netgear to get its act together (if ever) and release an update to the firmware which A) fixes this problem that many users are reporting and B) finally introduces disk spin-down again.
I've had more problems with this unit in the couple months I've had it than I had in all the years before with the old trusty Duo v1. I should not have to switch off a feature that is advertised just to get the thing do what it is meant to do in the first place.
