Readynas 104 gives errors during playback via VLC.
I am running a rn104, which is being a little troublesome. It has the latest firmware installed, but ever since I upgraded 6.2.x versions, I get errors playing video files from a share on the Ready...
I'm using a standard Win7 installation, and that uses SMB(v2) for network file sharing / access.
After removing the network bond last night I didn't see the error, but I will have to play a lot more videos before declaring the error solved.
