Large file read speeds on the NV+ are around 20-25 MB/s. With the RN104, the read speeds are around 85 MB/s. Writes are slower (~50 MB/sec).
In your case I am thinking the RN314 might be better. Large file reads are ~100 MB/s, but more importantly, writes are also ~100 MB/s. Smaller file access and directory reads are also considerably faster than the RN104.
I'd go for the RN314 if you can afford it.
