It should be mentioned on the home page of Frontview and also under the Info (far right) column in RAIDar (http://www.readynas.com/downloads)
Sounds like you're probably running 4.1.6 which should work fine with your server.
Have you tried accessing a share on the NAS not using Backup Exec to see if that works as you would expect?
