ReadyNAS 204 shows "No IP Address"
The unit shows "no IP Adress" even though the ethernet port shows activity and the router show connection.. When I initially tried to shut the unit down it said that it was shutting down and "Goodbye...

Neither ReadyCloud or RAIDar can see it. The router network map doesn't show the 204 as a connected device even though it and the 204 show an active ethernet connection. I guess that the 204 did not request an address or the request never was sent.

Hi Tom2B,
Was your ReadyNAS configured with a Static IP address before? or was it DHCP? Are you okay with removing the drives (mark or label all of them) from your system to check if the chassis is okay?
