It is a v2 so it could run OS6 (though unsupported). It should be fixed now.
How long are you waiting after you start the RAID setup?
I've done the reset countless times now, but I have waited as long as 5 days.

That should certainly be long enough...
Are these new disks? If so, what are the drive models (in particular the size).
The disks are not new and have been used in this unit for a few years. They are WD 1TB drives (Model WD1003FBYX-01Y7B0).
