ReadyNAS 314 - ERR: Used disks Check RAIDar
Hi, I have a ReadyNAS 314 and I get a "ERR: Used disks Check RAIDar" message on the screen. It shows the same on a Reboot and on a OS Re-Install. Please help. Many thanks, Yiannis

Should be fixed now.
Your OS partition was full with a log file, /var/log/asterisk/messages
Your system should be updating to 6.1.9 which should rotate all the logs.

I am having the same issue with my ReadyNAS 314. I have attempted to reinstall OS as well as reset to factory default, but now I'm receiving this error. Can someone please advise? 4 2TB WD RED drives installed, and the whole unit including drives is less than 1 year old. I just want to reset the damn thing to start over from scratch. Thanks

You can always connect the drives to a windows PC and delete all the partitions with windows disk manager. That will unformat them, so the RN314 will do a fresh factory install.

It is not the same problem if you are getting the message when attempting a factory default.
Can you try to factory default the nas with one drive only, what happens?
What method are you using for the factory default?

vandermerwe,
Thank you for your suggestion. I performed a factory reset using one disk at a time, with all 4 disks and this seemed to solve the problem. After all 4 disks were reformatted I was able to rebuild the RAID 5 array. Thanks!
