ReadyNAS 314 access from Mac extremely slow

Checking for updates didn't do anything for me. So I had to download and then upload myself. At first got an error message then the upload worked. Was able to move up to 6.8 and get the new SMB options. Applied the Enhance MacOS and now we're testing to see if it will make a difference. I appreciate all of the support from everyone. I am sytem administartor and we have mix of PC and Mac at my workplace. We have a Netgear ReadyNAS 1500 with Firmware RAIDiator 4.2.30. When we access NAS shares from PC it seems to faster but with MAC's with OS Sierra are extremely slow to read/write shares. Is there any fix ?
