ReadyNAS 314 OneDrive with 6.10.7

I just updated to firmware 6.10.7 and then OneDrive Sync showed authentication errors

I followed this solution https://kb.netgear.com/000049510/ReadyNAS-OS-6-9-Sync-with-OneDrive to fix this. But now when I try to browse to the OneDrive (cloud) folder I want to sync with, it only shows the folders in the root folder and when I double click one one, it says folder empty. So I can't re-set up the sync.

Any ideas?

  • After auto-updating to this firmware (10.6.7) my drive began to throw sync errors as well. Upon resync the drive completely locked up a total of 3 times, each time requiring me to hard reboot it to get it back online - couldn't even access the web GUI. It was after the third time this happened that I downgraded back to 6.10.6. After the downgrade the sync errors stopped, and the unit hasn't locked up again since. Only issue is that the lockups caused one of my 4 drives to become degraded and require a recovery. Luckily I have a RAID setup so other than the 3 days that will take nothing has been lost.

I suggest running the disk test from the volume settings wheel after the current resync completes.

FWIW, I haven't run into any issues with 6.10.7 on my RN102 or my RN202 - the RN102 is using XRAID/RAID-1, and the RN202 is using FlexRAID/jbod.  My various x86 NAS are running XRAID/RAID-5 and no issues with them either.

I've not had any drive issues, just the Onedrive sync.

I'll give it a week (as the sync isn't mission critical) before considering going back to an older version.

  • Hey Paulus237 is your Microsoft account by any chance a business one? I think that cloud app is best suited to personal MS accounts, though in my case I still managed to get it connected with a business account. I'm discussing with Netgear techs via a support ticket now..

Thank you for the suggestion, I have both Personal & business accounts. It's my personal one I'm using.
It authorises/connects fine and shows my OneDrive root folder's folders but when I browse into the one I want, there's no folders there to select.
