ReadyNAS 3220 Locking up after upgrading to 6.2
Hello
Ever since we upgraded to 6.2 our RN3220 will lock up sometime over night when our backups are running. Requiring us to power off and on the device every morning.
We were running 6.1.8 before upgrading with no issues. System will not let me rollback to 6.1.8 now.
Running RAIDar is detecting device and displaying version as Support:64764. which maybe related to the issue?
Any help into this issue would be great.
Thanks

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserSounds like your system put itself into tech support mode. Perhaps contact support?
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredNo that indicates Remote Access SSH is still active.
What software do you use for your backups?
What protocol do you use for the backups? - kplatteAspirantWe are backing up from CentOS 6.6 using rsync over NFS mounts.
Also getting this message in logs after powering it back on: Volume 'data' health changed from 'Inactive' to 'Redundant'.

Are you using bit-rot protection or snapshots for those shares? - kplatteAspirantNot sure on the NFS thread count what ever the default setting is I would guess.
Bit-rot protection box is checked for each of the NAS shares.
I upgraded to 6.2.1 beta with same results still locks up over night. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredSounds like you have fragmentation issues.
Can you send me your logs (see link in my sig)? - kplatteAspirantLog file sent
- SkywalkerNETGEAR ExpertThat's some pretty strange top output. Can you try
# systemctl stop readynasd
before your next backup run starts, and see if you still get an issue? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYour logs zip file was removed from your email for policy reasons.
- kplatteAspirantOK resent lolg file. should go through this time.
