ReadyNAS 4200 drive replacement
I received a replacement drive for a bad disk on a 4200 and ended up swapping out the wrong drive. I have let the new disk build overnight and received my alert that it is complete.
I was told by support that I can just simply use the drive I pulled by mistake and replace the bad drive with that now. BUT.......
I have about 24 hours of data changes now, so I am a little cautious. Is it possible to use that drive I incorrectly pulled as it is now without formatting it?
Looking for a second opinion to what I was told.
Thanks!!!

- brianharris16AspirantSpoke again with Netgear Support and was able to be put in touch with the ReadyNAS group.
Suggestion was to perform a low level format and the reinsert drive.
So not as easy as swapping but more comfortable with that answer.
