ReadyNAS Duo - password lenth
I'm using ReadyNAS Duo. I would like to know if there is way to bypass the users password limitation (9 characters only).
You can use backup jobs to backup your data and do a config backup via System > Config Backup to backup the configuration (it is important to keep the config backup .zip file as this is what you would need to restore).
It is advisable to backup your important data regularly regardless of whether you are doing a firmware update. No important data should be stored on just the one device. It is certainly prudent to backup your data where possible before doing firmware updates.
