Stephen, thanks for the quick reply. Files look like they're definetly in shares - the "sharename (\\nasname) (T:)" structure you described appear in Windows Explorer and the sharename also appears in frontview. I'll give your solution a go in the next 24 hours and post the result. Thanks again. John
