ReadyNAS Duo Copying is slow and gives error 0x8007003B

I can't copy anything or use my ReadyNAS duo while connected to our router - it is incredibly slow (10's of KB) at the best of times and simply errors out most of the time.

If I disconnect the router it works perfectly - but no intrenet...

I've checked the MTU size, and piniging packets etc. and that seems fine, Jumbo frames are disabled on my computer.

How do I go about troubleshooting the router/switches?

Current configuration is Edge router->TP-Link switch->netgear switch which goes to both my computer and the ReadyNAS (it was originally setup without the netgear switch with the same problem).

  • Thanks for your help, I've fixed the problem though.

It was a network driver issue on my computer and the NAS started working after uninstalling and reinstalling.

Did you have any ports forwarded to your NAS?

Do you have a backup of your data on the NAS?

Can you send me your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?
