Readynas duo daisy chain to Thunderbolt issues
I need some help as I am in way over my head. I upgraded to a new Macbook Pro with thunderbolt display. I also bought a Promise Pegasus DAS. I connected my Netgear NAS to the Promise with a Etherne...
It's me again. My Mac kept on losing the connection with my NAS when I tried the wireless backup or the option where I connected the Netgear to the Thunderbolt DAS drive.
I then connected the Mac with an Ethernet cable to the router (using the Thunderbolt display's ethernet connection) and also connected the NAS to the router. I then tried the backup (Time machine) again. This time the connection wasn't lost but the backup is VERY slow - it says it will take 7 days to backup 700GB.
Something must be wrong. Can anybody help?
