The first step is to back up your data! RAID doesn't guarantee data loss - lots of posts on this topic in the forums.
The second step is to test the second disk in your PC with vendor tools (WD lifeguard in this case).
If your disks are on Netgear's HCL, then you could also open an on-line support case.
