Thanks for good advice. The immediate problem now is that the unit does not respond to the on/off button, regardless of the time I press it or the number of times I press it. The Duo has been chewing for about 30 hours now, and I cannot get it to stop.
So now my question is: is it better to unplug the power cord, or to hotswap the faulty disk while the NAs is stuck in this endless loop of disk activity?
