ReadyNas Duo Mk2 Blue light booting forever
I added a 2gb Drive to the 2gb drive already in (both OK with the list) and it seemed to be expanding OK, but then it needed to boot and has been like that for about 12 hours.
Both drive panel lights are on in blue, but the blue activity light is flickering. Raidar has continued to tell me the unit is booting.
Both hardware and Raidar are up to date.
Help..!

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredPerhaps power off the system, disconnect the power, wait a minute or two, then reconnect the power again and see if it boots.
- 2podsAspirantThanks that did it :D
No I only have to work out how to use it as either a new share, or a redundant drive without losing what I have on the original.
I've tried copying all of "Public" and "Media" to a attached 3tb usb3 drive, but It gives me I/O errors after copying some of the 1.7tb worth of files :nashammer: - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredSounds like a disk issue, either with a disk in the NAS or the USB disk.
Can you send me your logs?: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/21543/~/how-do-i-send-all-logs-to-a-readynas-forum-moderator%3F - 2podsAspirantI'm pressing the "download logs" button, but either nothing is happening, or they're being saved somewhere, but no idea where.
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredIt can take a little time for the logs to be generated. Though if it doesn't work you could try a different web browser.
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredAre you able to connect the USB disk to your PC and test it?
Also are you able to power down the NAS, remove your disks (label order) and test them using SeaTools? - 2podsAspirantRebooted NAS both disks showing OK. Probably pilot error :-)
I'll give the USB test a shot and report back
