Okay, I finally got the firmware to reinstall. The NAS now comes up in Frontview and RAIDar, said it was firmware 4.1.7. That's good.
But Frontview now tells me No Shares Exist. RAIDar went into File Systems Check after the reboot and reporting the firmware number. (It's now at 12%.) I held the reset only for about 8 or 9 seconds; it shouldn't have done a factory reset.
Will my shares reappear after the file systems check, or should I pull the plug, in case it's trying to do a factory reset?
