It's not doing a factory reset. If it was doing a factory reset after a minute or so if initiating it you would be prompted to click setup in RAIDar and choose RAID modes. After about 10 minutes it would wipe the disks, install the firmware and initiate a resync.
A filesystem check is a maintenance operation. The "No Shares Exist" indicates there is still a problem. I would suggest you contact tech support for assistance as I suggested above. If possible, please edit the thread title (i.e. subject of first post of the thread) to include your case number. Otherwise simply post your case number.
