ReadyNAS DUO power loss and now green blinking lights
Hi All, I just experienced a power failure and the ReadyNAS DUO went down unexpectedly. When the power came back on the NAS was manually powered on by me. As the NAS powered up the blue power lig...
"...both 1 and 2 are blinking green and alternating slowly..." - definitely memory error.
Why am I so sure?
I just tried to replace the original 256 Mb memory with a spare 512Mb SODIMM DDR memory, got the same "disk leds alternate blinking" result (and NAS refusing to start), switched back to original memory - everything working again. The scenario was then reproduced with the same result.
