ReadyNAS Duo RND2000 not booting
I removed the drives from my ReadyNAS Duo a few days ago and left it turned off. Now it won't complete the boot sequence. The blue power LED flashes on and off continually, and all four of the green LEDs on the front flash in sync, intermittently. I've tried a factory reset and it didn't help. I also tried firmware reinstallation (holding the power and reset buttons until the green LEDs started flashing), and that had no effect either.
Any ideas for how I can revive it?

Corrupt root partition. You can confirm this with RAIDar. http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20684/~/readynas-downloads#raidar

Thanks - I've now tried rebooting it with a single unpartitioned disk and it is fine again. I didn't realise that the machine doesn't start up at all if it doesn't like one of the disks that's installed.
