Readynas DUO v2 - Lost access to files
Just recently bought a readynas duo V2, mainly as a mediacenter solution for my mac. I'm a IT Tech myself and have some experience with NAS from before. but this NAS is bugging me with super annoy...

Nobody is the guest user. You should be logged in as a user not as a guest.

Using chown and chmod ownership and permission settings for existing files can be changed.
Can you check the ownership and permissions of the problem folder (note paths are case-sensitive so use the paths as you find them on your NAS) e.g.
ls -la /media/Music/

Permissions are not controlled that way. It's a Linux box not a Windows box.
