Readynas DUO v2 - Lost access to files
Just recently bought a readynas duo V2, mainly as a mediacenter solution for my mac. I'm a IT Tech myself and have some experience with NAS from before. but this NAS is bugging me with super annoy...
We're having the same issues - or at least very similar issues. Everyone seems to be able to access their own shares that are created when the user is created. But for shares that we've tried to set up for access by several users, things become irritating.
Files can be moved and such from the dashboard.
A user can create a file or folder in any share or folder created from the dashboard, assuming the user has been given the permission to get to that location.
Any file or folder created by a user CANNOT BE MODIFIED by ANYONE else but the Admin from the dashboard, regardless of permissions settings for the user or the share.
This is a ReadyNAS Duo v2, with the latest firmware (just updated it last night, made no difference with this problem). All of our computers are Win 7 64 bit Home Premium. I think we have an XP computer around here... I will find it and see if I can rule out the OS as a source of the problems.
